Appu singing at Amateur club

This is a video clip of Appu singing Papa kehte hai at the Amateur Club competition (September 2008). He won the second runner up for this. Being an impromptu recording on a still camera, from quite far....I know the recording quality is pretty bad. Never-the-less, thought I will put it up here:)

I have not sung any of Manna Dey's songs before. Of course I have always admired him as a singer...but never attempted to sing any of his songs. I sang this at the last show by our band & thought I will upload it here too. Hope I have done justice to this catchy & playful number from the movie Waqt.(The scene was enacted beautifully by Balraj Sahani & Achala Sachdev).
